Our Return Policy: Confidence in Every Purchase

At Elara West, we want you to love every piece you order as much as we loved creating it.
Each garment is handcrafted in Texas with precision, care, and intention — and while we stand by our craftsmanship, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary.

This guide outlines our return policy to ensure your shopping experience remains seamless and stress-free.


Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns for eligible, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered garments within 14 days of delivery.
All tags must remain attached, and the item must be in its original condition and packaging.

Because our garments are made in limited quantities, please note that we cannot guarantee exchanges in every size or style — but we’ll always work with you to find the best solution.


Non-Returnable Items

To maintain the integrity and quality of our products, the following items are final sale and not eligible for return:

  • Custom or made-to-order garments

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Gift cards and accessories (including scarves and small leather goods)


How to Start a Return

To begin your return or exchange:

  1. Contact us with your order number and reason for return.

  2. Our customer care team will respond within 1–2 business days with your next steps and return shipping instructions.

  3. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund (minus any shipping costs) to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

(If you prefer a store credit, please indicate this in your email — credits are processed immediately after inspection.)


Exchanges

We’re happy to offer size or style exchanges when inventory allows with a 20% restocking fee. If your requested item is unavailable, you may select a store credit or refund for eligible purchases.

(To secure the correct size quickly, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item for a refund/exchange.)


Shipping Costs

Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
If you received a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.
